GPS Episode 60: Destiny 2 Warmind, Red Dead Redemption II Trailer, and More

Episode 60 of our gaming podcast, The Gamer Pros Show (GPS), is now live! Saniya Ahmed joins us this week to talk about all the details on Destiny 2‘s Warmind expansion.

In the news, Ikaruga is coming to Nintendo Switch later this month. This highly-regarded shoot ’em up is a perfect fit for the on-the-go nature of the Switch. Sony announced this week that God of War is their fastest-selling PS4 exclusive, even more so than Uncharted 4Shadow of the Colossus, or Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Rockstar Games released a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption II, which reveals some interesting story details, as well as the fact that John Marston will make an appearance in the game. This week we also saw pre-alpha footage of Beyond Good & Evil 2 gameplay, which looks interesting, but confirmed everyone’s suspicions that the game is so very far away.

Fortnite is in the news as usual, seeing great success by implementing Marvel’s Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet into the game. Two of the biggest franchises have joined forces to create immense hype!

Nintendo have confirmed that there will not be a proper Virtual Console program on the Switch, though they will be releasing some classic games under a new banner. Nintendo Switch Online will launch with 20 classic games, of which half are currently known. Notable titles include Super Mario Bros.Super Mario Bros. 3The Legend of ZeldaDonkey Kong, Balloon Fight, and Dr. Mario.

In our main segment this week, Saniya is talking all about Destiny 2: Warmind, and how it is a large improvement from Curse of Osiris. Many of us have fallen out of love with Destiny 2, since its vanilla launch, and we aren’t sure Warmind is enough to bring us back. Check out all of our thoughts in the episode!
